We are presently looking for a new member to join our A.P. Plasman Inc. TECUMSEH team as: 


Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with above average communication and organization skills that will have specific responsibilities which include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Maintenance of equipment (electrical, pneumatic, robotic, mechanical, hydraulic), and building repair in order to maintain quality and production levels
  • Perform preventative equipment maintenance within manufacturers' specifications
  • Assisting other maintenance personnel
  • Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Spill procedures/transfer of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain the building by repairing as required.
  • Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Fabricating or building items as required.
  • Comply with established rules, procedures and Health & Safety mandates.
  • Abide by the Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct
  • Completion of any other duties as assigned. 


  • Secondary School Diploma
  • Minimum of 4 years working knowledge is preferred in the areas of electrical, mechanical, and PLC programming; with key focus on electrical
  • Experience with paint application equipment is considered an asset
  • A ticket in a provincially recognized Industrial Electrician designation 442 is required or must in the position to challenge the 442 Electrical test (with hours and experience requirement)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. 


  • Experience with paint application equipment is considered an asset
  • Must be physically capable of performing all essential duties of the role (walking, lifting, climbing, working in awkward or extended positions)
  • Work in compliance with Quality and Business Operating Systems and all Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasked environment & able to perform well under pressure.
