HR Business Partner-Talent

(Maternity Leave contract ~ 12-15 months)

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our Corporate Human Resources Team. 

The Role

The HR Business Partner Talent is a member of a multidisciplinary HR leadership team, reporting to the VP, HR. The HRBP Talent provides thought leadership, acts an advisor to the HR function, and leads the development and implementation of HR initiatives, projects, programs and to support Plasman Group strategic objectives related to talent attraction, development and retention across our global operations.

Key areas of focus during this contract assignment include:

  • Management of the global employee engagement survey and action planning project.
  • Management of the Plasman Leadership Development Program.
  • Manage Corporate-wide HR processes including recruitment, performance management, talent development, etc.
  • Leading the rollout an internal development program across all North American facilities.
  • Developing and implementing Corporate-wide recruitment initiatives, including HR best practices and hiring manager resources and training.
  • Partner with Executive team to support the recruitment of senior-level roles to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective management of recruitment partners.



  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • CHRP is considered an asset.



  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience in developing and implementing best-in-class HR programs and projects.
  • HR experience in union and union-free environments with a focus on positive employee relations.
  • Experience in leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholder groups, ideally across multiple locations.
  • Experience in developing high-quality internal communications, including presentations, training, booklets, program branding, etc.
  • Experience in talent acquisition at a Corporate level an asset.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong initiative with a proven track record of implementing process improvements
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR industry best practices, specifically related to talent and engagement
